Certified ISO 9002 - Highest Quality Standards. The company was incorporated in 1968. The company have been involved in all forms of shipping & forwarding in addition to specialising in the Petrochemical industry for the past 30+ years.

Originally a privately owned company run by a director who was a major shareholder, the company is now part of a group that is privately owned, under family control. All shareholders have active roles in managing the companies in the group.

The company’s Essex operation is based on a large freehold site with a 25000 square foot warehouse near Chelmsford, Essex, close to the M25 and main Eastern shipping ports.
The fully racked warehouse facilities are H.M. Customs & Excise bonded, and include:

* Case making & packing equipment
* Loading ramp
* Electronic Scales
* Drum handling equipment
* Fork lifts to 10000 kilos.
The company’s Airfreight operation is located adjacent to Heathrow Airport with a 10000 square foot warehouse.
An expert freight management team experienced in every aspect of the business leads the shipping operations & fully comprehensive import & export documentation systems.

As well as providing normal warehouse and forwarding services Sutch & Searle Shipping can offer fully computerised order processing, warehouse control and shipment, to include receiving, checking, re-packing and redistribution with the automatic generation of all necessary documents at each phase of the process. This is controlled by a fully networked on-line computer system that if needed can be linked by electronic transmission, either by e-mail or otherwise to clients systems using their interface protocols. These systems can be tailor made to suit individual customer requirements producing various forwarding documents directly from the system. A full expediting service can be offered as well, linked to this system.
